Run for Mental Health 2025

Join Mental Health Europe and Run for Mental Health at the Brussels 20k

We are inviting people to Run for Mental Health on Sunday, 25th May 2025, at the Brussels 20K. In previous years, we created a Mental Health Europe charity team to raise awareness about mental health but this year we missed the opportunity to register as an official team (Boo!).

Instead, we are inviting runners to register as individuals and once you have guaranteed your place, you will have the opportunity to sign up to run for Mental Health Europe and claim your free t-shirt.

The race welcomes the participation of runners, walkers, and people with disabilities.

To run with us on the day, make sure you register your place on the Brussels 20K website. Registration opens on 12 March 2025, and places go quickly.

Please remember, registration for the Brussels20k is handled by the organisers, not Mental Health Europe, as first-come, first-served

About mental health and physical exercise

Physical exercise is proven to have a positive effect on our mental health and to reduce stress levels. The length or intensity of the physical activity is not that important – even small amounts of exercise a day can visibly improve your mental health. A 10-minute walk or 5-minute stretching session is a great way to start building sustainable habits that support good mental health.
